A key to running an effective list is hosting one that makes sense for what you offer — which is why we give you choices such as limiting the number who can join your list and private only lists. Private lists are a great way to hide the number of users who are signed up for your list, their usernames, and excluded your list from our search results.
NOTE: You will need one of our Premium plans to enable private lists.
Enabling the Private setting
When you are creating or editing your list, look for the option "Who can see and join your list?"
Settings explained and what users will see...
Everyone — This shows your list in public search results, shows the number of list members currently on your list, and the top 10 usernames who are on the list.
Private and only people who have the URL — We won't show your list in search results, and the number of list members and list of usernames will be hidden from public view. Anyone with the URL can join the list.
Private and only people you send invitations — We won't show your list in search results, and the number of list members and list of usernames will be hidden from public view. You'll create & send invitations from your waitlist page. Only users with an invitation can join your list.
